Willow Spring.. search 27592 .. GORGEOUS area and its 20 minutes to Apex/Cary! Not congested, not tons of building going on .. mostly farms and just beautiful rural views. I suggest you look into it!

Western Wake area schools are generally very good, among the best in the WCPSS system.
Do you have a preference for traditional or year-round schedule?

Relying solely on test scores can be misleading, but the Salem Middle School turns in tremendous results in EOG tests. It is year-round, only a few years old, and has minimal mobile classrooms.
Apex Middle School and Davis Drive Middle also perform very well on a traditional calendar.

Green Hope, Panther Creek, and Apex High Schools serve the west side of Cary. All do well. Panther Creek is nearly new, just adding all three grades.

Your price point opens up many fine housing opportunities. Most communities will offer you a community pool or optional swim club within the subdivision, and there are swimming facilities available in the area if their is no community pool/club.
You have the luxury of being able to choose either and live in a fine neighborhood.

Friendly neighborhoods? Basically you have to be a detective to find an UNfriendly neighborhood around here...
