Within 20 minutes? I can only think of Oxford. I hope you've visited. Good luck!

It is actually for a friend. Thank you for your input. What about Youngsville? Is that any good??

Youngsville is small and quiet, so it depends on the definition of "good". It is close to shopping in Wake Forest, so that's a plus. It closer to a 30min commute to Henderson, but the drive isn't bad.

I think I was just trying to find the town within that distance and with more to do. Thank you both for helping.

If they would rather live closer to things to do but would like to be within 30 minutes to work I would check out Creedmoor, Youngsville, or Franklinton.

What is it about Henderson that your friend does not find appealing? What exactly is he/she looking for?

Agreed. Franklinton is the best bet for a quick, non-congested commute. What's your friend's price range?
