My friend received her teaching license from NC and is very excited about getting a job here in the Triangle area. Specifically, she would like to teach Spanish at a public or private school; or, teach English as a foreign language to non-naitive English speakers. And/or do some Spanish to English translation work.
Knowing the economy and that there are only certain key times of the year to search for teaching jobs, I do not want her to get discouraged. We have already tried several public and private school postings and had at best, only tepid results.
If someone knows of a contact or can help us, please contact me privately or post your idea. She is a hard working, dedicated professional and is extremly eager to teach. I will be more than happy to send you her resume which, speaks for itself.
My daughter's elementary school Spanish teacher just left the school on Dec 17th because she was moving to WV. Maybe try giving them a call (Holly Springs Elementary).
