Realistically, approximately how long would the commute be for someone who lives in North Raleigh and works in Clayton? Thanks!

Our niece lives in North Hills near Falls of Neuse and Harps Mill..going US 70 to the Beltline it takes us 35 minutes without traffic. If we go the back way up Buffalo and hit 540 it is 40-45 minutes. Straight up Capital...why bother...depending on where in Clayton you can even take Smithfield Road off 64 but it is still longer than 440 to US 70 (White Oaks) into Clayton.

Hubby drives from North Raleigh (Creedmoor/Strickland roads) to Garner area (Hwy. 70/Shotwell Road) and it takes him about 30 min.

Sister drives from Garner area to North Raleigh and it takes her about 45 minutes.

Hubby is going against traffic and sister is going with traffic.
