Default Morrisville has a Community Garden!

I may have posted about this before, but we're digging in the 60 (zip 27560). This spring the Morrisville Community Garden will break ground (we're in the last stages of firming up the location, it's down to two). It's open to anyone willing to drive over and pitch in. We'll be at the January 12 Morrisville Healthy Habits Open House (at the Aquatics & Fitness Center) from 4-7pm. We'll also be at the Advocates for Health in Action's "Dig In" at Marbles Museum in March.

check the website http://www.morrisvillegarden.org, find us on FAcebook (Worm Turners: Morrisville Community Garden), or join our Yahoo! Group (Worm Turners).

PM me if you have questions, etc. Thanks!

Do you have to be a Morrisville resident to become a member? I will be moving to west Cary shortly and would like to apply for membership.

according to the website op posted
  1. Q.Who can join the MCG?
Anyone who lives in driving distance and would like to participate may, provided they pay membership fees and agree to abide by garden rules. If the demand begins out outpace supply of land and plants, we may have to stop accepting membership applications.
