Silo Glen is the only one of the three with fire hydrants. I don't believe Kimmon Place nor Tray lee have them. So Silo may save you money on your home insurance you may want to check that out with an insurance agent. All three are a ways out from stores, restaurants, movies, etc. 3.9 miles as someone stated is a ways with gas around 2.75 gallon and if you drive a mega-SUV. So if you get milk at $4.55/gallon and use a $2.75 Worth of gas the milk just cost you $7.30, something to consider living out that far.

I think it is all a matter of what you want, and where you are comfortable living. We live about 3 miles from traylee (away from wake forest). So, I am 7 miles from the super target, a bit closer to the gas station, grocery, etc. We chose our neighborhood for many reasons, the top being that we are on an acre. We didn't want to have smaller lots with homes closer together. The other issue is we are not in the city limits of wake forest, so our tax bill is quite a bit less. I guess I don't feel like I am "out there" and the money I am saving on taxes will help me with the "long drive" to the grocery store.

and im sure the surrounding areas should really be building up over the next 3-5 years.
By 2010-2012,their will probably many new gas stations, grocery stores,restaurants,etc-anyway.
I think values in these subs will skyrocket over the next 5-15 years.
