Talking Affordable Housing?

What areas or towns would you look in to find homes around $160,000?
Are there any?
Thanks, Much!

A lot depends on your needs. What do you require in terms of # rooms/Sq Ft? How old a house will you consider? Schools? Commute? Lot size?

You can look ANYWHERE in the Triangle. It's a great place with houses in every price range. Some faster growing areas are Apex, Holly Springs or Fuquay-Varina. Visit listwise.com, it's a really good site to search the MLS, I used their firm when I moved from PA. Good luck on your home search!

Might try Brentwood in Raleigh.

Has lost some of its polish but convenient and relatively decent.
