a townhome community? She's come down to visit me a few times and we've looked around. She wants to pay less than 160 k for a new townhome. Would consider an apartment-Not sure what she’s looking for in a condo. But, she would like to have a garage, two bedrooms and a bathroom. Doesn't care about development size. Did not like the townhomes off captial?(They didn't have garages)She seemed to like a few places in NW Raleigh and some in Cary. (I personally don't think she'd like cary as much as Raleigh) Does anyone know of any new developments coming up? I don't pay attention to these since I'm not looking to buy in a development or a townhome.... Websites that I can just link to her would be great!
I searched all of Wake County for New Construction townhome communities with garages and came up with:
Fieldstone Crossing off Poole Road.
Thornton Square and Thornton Commons II off Capitol Blvd.
Pine Knoll off Old Buffaloe Road.
SunnyBrook Estates between Poole Road and New Bern Avenue.
Townes at Landover on Forestville Road.
Wakelon Townhomes in Zebulon.
$129,990----$159,900
She can get a single family with a garage at a very competitive price, but likely not brand new.

You might also try down around the garner / clayton area. It's growing up pretty fast. The farther out, the cheeper. There are a lot of nice houses and town homes down hwy 50 in garner and if she doesn't mind a little comute she could even look down in Johnston county. A lot cheeper down there.
