Need info. on Southern Baptist Churches in FV, Angier, and Western Johnston County... (Fort Bragg: high school)

DH may be taking a job at Fort Bragg this summer. I am from NC and grew up in Cumberland County. I would prefer to live in either Wake County, Johnston County or Harnett County. I am looking at the areas of Fuquay Varina, Willow Spring, Angier, and Benson. Church is a big part of our life and I would like information on Southern Baptist Churches in these areas. Thanks in advance!

The only church I know in the areas listed is Kennebec Baptist in Angier. The pastor is a long-time friend of mine. He and I have known each other since we were both in college more than 20 years ago. From what I know through him, the church seems pretty solid and the members are relatively active.

Regardless, I hope you find one that helps you grow closer to God and allows you opportunities for meaningful service!

Thanks so much for your response. I had seen that church on the internet and it did peak my interest. We have two children...one that will be a Freshman in college in August and one (son) who will be a sophomore in High School so an active youth ministry is very important to us. If we move down to that area we will have to visit Kennebec!
