I'll have to hold off on posting on this board in the future until my plan to move to NC is finalized and we actually have a house completed in the state. I had thought about posting questions about the area as my plan progresses but it's probably best that I deal directly with local governing authorities directly. From what I have experienced of the planning board, they seem friendly and reasonably quick to respond, considering I'm not even local to the state yet.
If anybody is interested in what I end up building in NC (probably in the area surrounding Cary/Apex/Fuquay-Varina), hopefully you'll be able to look up a post from me in the next eight to twelve months (assuming my account hasn't been suspended or removed by then).
Well gee, you have peaked MY curisoity. What do you mean it is best that you deal directly with local governing authorities? And why do you think your account is likely to be suspended or removed? Who are you and what are you planning...?
