I had a great view of the moon on Just above the horizon as I was driving east on I-540 on my way home from Durham driving towards Raleigh this evening. The full moon was tremendous and a lot bigger than I have ever seen before!

Default My Moon Photo

I took this at about 8:15 pm from the Lowe's (home improvement) parking lot tonight looking toward beautiful Capital Boulevard.

The former landfill park near Durant would probably be good, but it's probably closed at night.

I'm from NYC and we could hardly see the moon, so I'd expect a SA answer like that, they got a lot of other stuff out at the landfill that will make you feel at home
