Another vote for Iris Cafe at the NCMA. I love that place! I also like Humple Pie but the ventilation system in there bothers me... After you leave there an hour later the smell is still on your clothes.

We enjoy going to Coquette's in North Hills. They have a good brunch menu that is well priced. Also - there are "bottomless" Mimosa's. It really is a nice selection, though.

The Forks Cafeteria in Wake Forest offers brunch on Sundays. Twisted Fork and Winston, Simply Crepes and the Upper Crust Pie and Bakery offer a good brunch in North Raleigh.

Zest Cafe on Six Forks and Strickland is our perennial favorite. Been going there for years - sometimes almost every Sunday. Not nearly as much now that we have a kiddo, but still often. Great, healthy, reasonably priced food, great atmosphere, outside seating if you wish, excellent coffee, and nice people.

I would stay away from Twisted Fork. They have never been the same since they changed their menu. They were my favorite restaurant, but what they have done to the place is a travesty. You might as well go to Applebees or Ruby Tuesday..........

After having lunch at Coffee and Crepes in Cary in Crossroads I can say we'll be back. Very impressed with the food quality. Fresh crepe made to order, had the raspberry chicken item, and a pumpkin spice frozen latte (my daughters recommend).
