I didn't care for Miltons. Had their pasta and it was greasy. More grease than the sauce itself.

The veggie slice of Sergio a few posts back look awesome but the review on the sausage slice was not high. Guess I'll have to try it for myself. Work near Crabtree so that'll be quite the drive.

Surprised no one mentioned Assagio's off Glenwood and Milbrook (behind the CVS & Kinkos). I usually get the 2 slice lunch special that comes with a drink. Passes two litmus' tests for me even before ordering

1) They have green olives (not just black olives)
2) They have feta cheese

In my book those are both 'separators' which separates the generic italian/pizza places from the more better ones.

And I really like their sauce as well.

I used to live in an apartment right down the street from Assagio's, and got take-out pizza from them all the time! I live too far away now to go there with any regularity.

My last contribution. I recently tried Amante's Gourmet Pizza in Sutton Square Shopping Center off Falls of Neuse Road. Great little pizza and fresh toppings.

Thanks!
