Would love any suggestions on where to look for a 2-3 bedroom townhouse in a safe, family-friendly, walkable, non-college student filled area of Chapel Hill or Carrboro (anything districted to the Ch Hill/ Carrboro school district. Budget is (ideally) below $200K.

Thank you.

I know there are lots of townhome options. One new development that seems to have some decently priced townhomes is Winmore.

My friend has a townhome in Colony Lake (in Chapel Hill) and that area would be within your budget. I like the neighborhood - families, young professionals, people out walking in the evening. And it is in the Chapel Hill/Carrboro school district.

I would recommend checking out Southern Village. Great walkability there, and townhomes are available under $200K. It's definitely a village concept, with a (smaller) movie theater, market, church, daycare, several restaraunts, and a beautiful outdoor stage and grassy square. Right next to a terrific park too!
