Perhaps if you don't want people posting in old threads, you should lock them to prevent it?

So...what do you need a lawyer for exactly?

And doesn't the fact that you got letters from all these people right off the bat tell you something about these people?

I dunno...I have asked questions that had no time limit on them...frankly, I'm still trying to figure out why someone would need a lawyer for a car accident in which both parties are insured.

OK, let me clarify.

No one said you can't post in old threads (and this one isn't even all that old). My POINT is that this accident occurred four months ago and the OP was seeking legal help then, not now.

I'm always impressed by the willingness of the members of this forum to offer help, and understand that it can be frustrating to spend time providing advice and information -- only to find out that the question is no longer relevent, or was answered some time ago. In many cases, members don't even realize the age of a thread when they respond.

So feel free to respond. Just understand that it's not a current question and, in fact, the OP hasn't even been back to the site since the day s/he posted the question.
