Raleigh is a very lovely place. It has a nice home like feeling.
The family I came with found a beautiful home, but we are cutting our trip short. The child we brought with us had a seizure and had to be taken to Raleigh Duke Hospital. I said the the agent showing us homes, I bet you never had something like this happen when taking families out. She said, "No its a first."

The Raleigh Duke Hospital is one of the best hospitals I've ever been in, they showed so much concern for the child. Even the security guard kept coming up to us asking on the progress of the child.

Once the little girl was thoroughly checked, the doctor's at Raleigh Duke had her taken to The Children's Hospital at the main Duke Hospital to have the shunt in her head checked.

I didn't get a chance to see anything. Our first day here, we looked at one home, went to eat and crashed early. We drove for over 10 hours. Our second day...we looked at several homes and was going back to the area where the family was going to pick out their lot when the child had the seizure. I can't remember the name of the subdivision, but it's in North Raleigh and the house is huge.

Everyone was so friendly. People here in Raleigh make you feel so welcomed. We went to a restaurant called Bahama Breeze for lunch and the food was great.

We are going to leave in the morning after the family takes care of their paper work.

I didn't get a chance to look at apartments down here, and it's a good thing I didn't because my friends are going to let me come stay at their place so I can take my time and find the right place for me. I can't wait to move down here.

I am sorry to hear about the child and hope the child is ok. That must of been scary for child as well as for everyone else.
As far as moving here, good luck and hope to meet at one of the meet ups from here at some time.
