Hmmm. Okay. Maybe not, then. Wonder who the heck it was?

Happy anniversary btw!
Aw! Thanks! We had a great time.

Some other couple got married right outside our balcony. We sat up there and watched the wedding before dinner.

I think Allison Krause came to Koka Booth Saturday night. Maybe she stayed at the Umstead?

Ah! That could be. If so, she travels with more armed guards than a gold delivery for Fort Knox.

Hmmm...she doesn't seem the type, and the Koka Booth schedule doesn't list her there until August.

I'm gonna have to agree with the Wills and Kate theory, as it's the most plausible.

She doesn't seem the type, but things have changed. My husband and I saw her at NC State at Stewart theater in the early nineties, when she had brown hair and was heavier. Our seats were metal folding chairs up front, on the floor.

I was 10 feet from her face as she sang. I had no idea who she was. I had a fake smile pasted on my face because I was afraid of insulting her if I didn't look like I was enjoying the music.

She's now thin, blonde, and to me, she always looks like she's uncomfortable.

Wills and Kate it is.

I'm guessing it was for Arne Duncan, the US Sec'y of Education. He and Sen Kay Hagan toured a school in Durham yesterday.

Yup. That would be logical with all the g-men and cops on our floor.

I assume he was in one of the suites near ours.

Mystery solved!

Thanks, raleighjayne!
