Draft Carolina Burgers & Beer opens in former Hi-5 location. Draft Raleigh, Raleigh, NC. I would like to hear reports of how good or bad it was.

It seems to me that 'Burgers and Beer' themes are in abundance. Bull City Burger, Tribecca etc. I can also name 6 restaurants near that part of Glenwood to order a Burger. What is the deal? Are these owners narrow minded or just jumping on the bandwagon?

Pretty much justification to charge more than $5 dollars a plate now.

I don't think the owners are narrowminded. Just offering what is popular and in demand with their customer base. There was a pretty good article a while back about the conversion of Michael Dean's to Tribeca Tavern (Same Owners) and how they needed to change the menu and price point to be more profitable.

Looks like the Tribeca Tavern menu. I recognize the 'you're my boy, bleu' burger and others. Good food at TT so will definitely try this out. I liked Hi5 too though....hope it's not the 'around the corner/down under' location hurting business.
