relocating to durham area. we are emply nesters and looking for well located, quality townhome or condo. quality of construction and safety of location are very important. suggestions for cary would be helpful too. thanks.
What makes a unit "well located?"
Proximity to services, parks, medical care, airport, etc??
Grace Park in Morrisville and Stone Creek Village in Cary come to mind.
Of course, price is a consideration.
Upper 200's +
Amberly has various townhomes and condos.
Washington Square is the higher end townhomes. $375000 and up.
There are some very nice villas in Preston on Crabtree Crossing, at about $450000+, and townhomes $290000--$320000 in Preston Grande.
Standard Pacific is also building in the Enclave at Stone Creek Village in Cary.
3 level townhomes, $280000+. $330000 with an elevator.
Right on the street, but you could crawl to coffee and food, they are that close.
Slow sales, and I look for a product realignment soon.
You might want to check out Weldon Downs off of Hope Valley Road in southwest Durham. They're new construction, top of the line, easy access to I-40, close to shopping etc.
