Default Moving to Cary/Raleigh - Single, mid-30s

I am moving to Cary/Raleigh in Sept from Seattle. I will be working in Cary but would like to live in an area where other single professionals in their mid-30s live. Any suggestions?

Not Cary. The only single life atmosphere you'll find will be in and around downtown Raleigh.

Go downtown or go somewhere else and just stay inside and play video games or something. There is very little else to do.

Is this relocation strictly work-related?

I would move near downtown Raleigh, that's where all the bars and nightlife goes on.
