So...considering building a new home in TPAWL (Maplechase Lane lot), but was wondering if the Cary Water Reclamation Facility off West Lake Rd. can and/or will expand the facility to the area behind Moneta Lane (across from Maplechase Lane). Is there any way to find out if this land is permanently protected from expansion?
I'd hate to buy thinking that the treatment plant will never get any closer than it is, only to find out that Cary can/will build out the facility further. I know I may seem a little paranoid, but I am painfully aware of Cary's hunger for annexing land.
The Western border of the reclamation plant adjoins protected open space for the neighborhood that is owned by the developer.
I can say with confidence that the plant will not expand.
