Ended up buying from Discount Tire. This was my first time there. I went to the one in Wake Forest. They were very friendly, and ended up not being able to locate the tires I agreed to purchase, so they upgraded me to a more expensive tire at no charge.

I recently ordered tires from tirerack.com and had Just Tires in Garner install them I was very happy with the price of the tires and definitely happy with the installation process at Just Tires. Would highly recommend both places.

Discount Tire price matches any online price+shipping. Just walk in with a printout. Or have the URL on a piece of paper for them to verify in the store.

They'll also offer you the warranty stickers (which are a reasonable deal IMO) and the install at their normal fees!

Universal Tire! Been there for over 20 years. You will get good customer service and great work. They also will warranty tires. They use only name brand tires. You can trust the guys with all your work.

Even better... they will help you search competitor prices online right there on the store computer and match the lowest one..
I went in to get an estimate and told them I needed to have a day to compare and they invited me to do it right there...
I just took my daughter there today for tires ..

I was in Discount Tire and the manager was on the phone with a lady who was working him on price.

"Sure, I can match that, Ma'am. Where did you get that price?"
Pause...
"Uh, Ma'am, This IS Discount Tire."
She hung up on him.

LOL

Another Discount Tire fan bought Michelins there a month ago. Price was good also got 70.00 rebate from Michelin then another 30.00 rebate with the Discount Tire card no interest for 9 months. Very smooth ride now.

Check Raleigh Auto Care, I've always gotten good prices from them, plus they'll mount, balance and get rid of your old tires.

Discount Tire took really good care of us. I highly recommend them. I dealt with the one in Knightdale, specifically. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful.
