What are the best places in the Raleigh area to go swimming? We are looking for clean lakes that are not polluted.

We went swimming in Jordan Lake this past weekend and it was lovely. I think there was a recent post about which beaches might be best at this Lake.

Hope Mills Lake won't be any good for swimming after the leak in the new dams foundations caused all the water to drain out the other day - not just the water but $14m down the drain

Jordan Lake is great for swimming...doesn't seem polluted at all.
