Default Individual Dental Insurance

Can anyone recommend a dental plan for individuals here in RDU? I have gotten quotes from Blue Cross but I am not a fan of their policies & waiting periods. I also found an HMO (comp benefits) but they didnt accept young children. I have checked ehealthinsurance.com but they have a bunch of plans that I have never heard of.

You will find out that very few individual plans offer more than a budgeting tool.

Very few good dentists are in the groups.

If you can't get employer coverage or, at least, group rates (like NC state employees), see if you can get a flexible spending account at work to pay dental expenses with pre-tax money.

Individual plans in NC usually have almost no value.

Be careful, many dentists in the plans with a required provider group are not those most folks would want to use.

Review providers before buying.
