Default Northeast Raleigh Running Track

Looking for a running track to do some interval workouts in the northeast Raleigh area. I am talking about an acutal facility not trails like Shelly Lake.

Just wanted to see if anyone knew of any tracks that are public use after school hours. I know East Millbrook Middle has one but I don't know if it's open to public use.

Thanks,

Yeah, most of the schools won't let the public use their tracks. I don't know whether East Millbrook allows it or not. But there is a track in Buffaloe Road Athletic Park at 5900 Buffaloe Rd in NE Raleigh (about a mile south of the 540 exit). It is a City of Raleigh park. The entrance is beside the fire station and you need to drive to the back to find the track. Hope this helps!

I suggest Buffaloe too. I've found it to be busy but not very crowded. So you likely won't be alone or dodging people.
