Nothing has been announced, frankly I'd be surprised if it happens. Gate availability (i.e. Terminal 2) isn't the problem. Someone willing to fly the route who believes they can sell enough tickets is the problem. RDU to London does well because AA gets a good base of business flyers in addition to tourists.
I assume you mean "nonstop" and not "direct", which may involve a stop, but no change of plane. You can't even get to the West Coast on a nonstop flight from RDU (with the exception of DL's seasonal LAX flight), so Germany is pretty much out of the question right now. If you want nonstop, head to CLT or IAD.

I'm an air traffic controller at Raleigh/Durham, and can tell you there are no plans in anywhere near future for direct flights to Germany at all. Delta did announce a direct flight to Paris, but as soon as they did, they cancelled it due to lack of interest/poor economy. The only international (commercial) flights we have available are to London, and Toronto.
