My suggestions:
Trader Joes or Whole Foods (probably too small lot)
They REALLY need a Trader Joe's or a Whole Foods in the Southpoint area, I totally agree.

Of course, if we're just dreaming, I'd LOVE to see an Ikea crop up in that spot.

I have eaten at both of them. When I ate at the one at SouthPoint it was far better than the one at Brier Creek. I ate at the one at Brier Creek and the food was absolutely horrible, and the service was the worse ever. I loved the apple pie deserts they had, I am sad to see it go. Hope something new comes in it place and not another franchise of an existing eatery we already have.

When I was living in a different state, they closed all of them down... not surprised.

I was curious what happened to Johnny Carino's as well. I ate at one Johnny Carino's in Charlotte a few years ago and swore to never eat at another one.

Anyway, I looked up KBM Properties and they have the site listed for sale on their website. It shows four buildings for retail/restaurant use.

Great info! I visited Carino's once and didn't really care for it, but I'll visit BWW quite frequently (I live a mile away).

Kind of like tearing down a Hardee's to build a Burger King

Two businesses? But what about parking? There may not be enough parking to make having two places there possible. As it is every since the RACK went in over on that side you can never find a parking spot.
