Okay - so definitely not a "high falutin'" question - but any opinions on where to find the best gas station coffee in the area. Any stations that are particularly good - or not? I'm a recent transplant who's loving it here - and am only missing good gas station coffee and good pizza. I'm on a quest for both. Shoot me your ideas!

Lisa

I like Sheetz coffee, with all its flavors. (Not a fan of Starbucks or anything that resembles it)

I second the Sheetz recommendation. They're also the only one I've found thus far who offers whole milk instead of just half-and-half, flavored creamers or those little itsy-bitsy thimble sized containers.

As for the pizza quest check out Vincents in North Raleigh. They're in the shopping center at the intersection of Lynn and Creedmoor Road. As an amateur pizza connoisseur I would consider them equal to any of my favorites on Long Island.

We used to have Vincent's on Capital. They were great at first but slumped when the owner stopped being there regularly. perhaps the new location is better.

For great pizza from a Brooklyn native, try Dominic's right near Target next to triangle Town Center. I grew up in NYC and Dominic's is the real deal.
