All,
I am leaving after work to see my dad who is having neck surgery today at Western Wake. I would like to pickup some dinner for my wife and mother on the way to the hospital. I am coming from downtown Raleigh. What is on the way or near the hospital?

Thanks,
W

Cary Restaurant | Cary Dining, Cary North Carolina | Lucky 32

There's also an O'Charley's nearby.

And a Danny's BBQ.

Assuming you will come down US1 and looking for dinner, not McD's?

There's a good Chinese place in the Walmart shopping center across Tryon Road from the hospital, closer to Harris Teeter.
Also a TGIFridays in an outparcel, in front of Walmart.

Lucky 32, just off the exit from US 1, on the south side of Tryon.

O'Charley's is adjacent to the Hospital.

Ahh, yes I had forgotten about Lucky 32 but I love that place. I haven't been there in at least 10 years. I assume the food is still good.

Maybe I'm going crazy, but didn't Lucky 32 used to be a Chinese restaurant?

Another nod for Lucky 32. It is close by and their food is good. Some friends of ours gave us a gift certificate from there when my kids were in the NICU and it was *great* to get a good meal after being at the hospital around the clock.
