My go-to dog boarder is shutting down at the end of the month! Does anyone have any recommendations around the 70/Miami or airport area?

I've heard bad things about how one particular place in the area treats their dogs, so I'm hoping for a personal recommendation!

We use our neighbors (we trade off whenever either of us goes on vacation), but a good friend uses (and swears by) Sunny Acres.

Try to find a dog sitter, their going to be depressed when your not there and sleep all day anyway, so you might as well let them do it in their own bed

If you & your dog don't mind a bit of a drive, I would recommend Pet Companion Inn in Bahama (just over the Durham/Bahama line off N. Roxboro).

That is where we take our gal & she seems to enjoy it.

We also use Suite Paws even though it's a hike from our house. Our dogs like to be there--we got a totally different response from my poor pups after going there as opposed to flipping out when we dropped them somewhere else closer to home (we live near the airport).

LOL I would but he really enjoys playtime with other dogs!

Thanks for the recommendations all, will look into those options Man, I wish they weren't all 30 min away, but if they're worth it, it's a no brainer!

I have used the Pet Resort on Miami. I like them good enough to recommend them. I now board at the vet because I have a dog with numerous medical issues.
