I have been visiting this forum for a while, and all your info/advice really is helpful. My husband and I just bout our 1st home in Raleigh (27603 - its right on the border of wake county and johnston county). We are moving from Long Island, NY. We are in our mid 20's, and the cost of living here (on LI) is unbelievable. we have a almost 3 year old that will be starting day care in sept. I hope to make friends down there, which i know i will, when i visited everyone was sooo nice!! I know where we are moving is kinda country, is there anything fun to do with a 3 year old? I cant wait to move!!!
If you go to Raleigh, take the 3 year old to a place call Play Space. They have moved a number of times and are supposed to join the Exploris Musuem downtown, but I'm not sure if that has happened yet. But your 3 year old will love it.
