Question and recommendations for car window tint in Cary (Raleigh: inspection, shop)

Hi all!

I want to tint the windows on my new Honda Insight. After having tint in our Volt, I've been spoiled.

We got the Volt done at a tint shop here in Cary, and it looks great. Our only concern is that it can look a little foggy at night. Do any of you know if this is just typical?

Any recs for good places to go in/near Cary would be greatly appreciated (via PM, of course)

I've heard TVP Auto does good work. Used to be in Cary, but now they've moved to Raleigh near Brier Creek.

i've never had tint done in cary....but i did go get a quote at tint world on maynard a couple weeks ago. the owner was very friendly and offered a great deal. I didn't get it done but only bc i'm waiting until i get my car inspected (so i don't have to pay the extra cash for inspection of tint) . i know they have a machine that cuts the tint which is a big plus.

I had the windows in my Camaro tinted a couple years ago at Sun Protection in Cary. They did a great job on the install, even on the curved hatch glass, and the material has held up very well. Most people think that my car has factory tinted glass, I got the 35% so it's not very dark but it is legal.
