We are going to out to dinner tonight and want to look around the city a bit. Where is the best place to walk/shop downtown Raleigh?

Personally, my wife and I ride the bike to Fayetteville St. and/or Glenwood Ave. to walk, eat, and shop.

It's the First Friday so it's a great time to head downtown! You could go to buku or Poole's Diner (2 of my favorites) and take the R Line to hop around.
