I am seeking a fun, bar/nightclub etc to take my friends Sat night before halloween, anywhere in the triangle prefer durham, chapel hill , carborro and raleigh. We like lively, crowded, good dance music (techno, hip hop etc) Which bars (specific) are good for us to dance and have fun in costumes? We would go to the chapel hill event but its on MONDAY
We are age range 25-36.
I don't see any "good" places advertising halloween and I don't know where to take them.. I want to take them somewhere really great and fun!
The Town of Chapel Hill actively discourages people from coming to Chapel Hill for Halloween (due to problems in prior years), and in fact makes it difficult to get to Franklin Street. I don't know of any Halloween-related activities in CH except the day of Halloween itself.
I know thats why I want to go. They can discourage all they want but I love big street parties like that. The only reason Im not going is because its on a monday and we are all so excited to go. I bet the people watching would be amazing!
I've never been, but I would try Motorco in Durham. They have a Halloween Ball on the 29th (tickets $7).
There is a list of DJ for the event on their website. Costumes are mandatory and nobody under 21 allowed. Bonus is you have Fullsteam Brewery and food trucks right across the street.

This is always a good time. I've done it the last 2 years. They will update the details within the next 2 weeks, but I wouldn't even worry about that. It'll be fun no matter what.
Solas is having the Carnival of Horror Halloween Bash on Saturday, October 29. I'm sure most everyone will be in costumes on Glenwood Avenue Saturday night so you shouldn't have a problem finding some where to go.
