But, there needs to be good/inexpensive housing within 30 minutes of the slopes to keep the price down (target is less than $20 per night per person). Ideally it would be some sort of camp/retreat/bunk-house sort of property where 8 or so teens and a couple of chapeones could be housed in each room.
I know a lot of church groups and other groups make these sort of trips so I'm hoping someone can share some leads that I have not been able to find on my own.
A bonus would be a facility where we could do our own meals.
I do NOT want hotel-type accommodations with one or two beds per room.
I have not been there in a long time, but we used to go up with a large non-profit group for teens I used to work with every winter for a ski weekend at Sugar Mountain. They have a cottage, dorm style rooms and dining hall. It is (or was) a nice facility for such an event and sounds like what you are looking for.
That is exactly the sort of facility we are looking for. I am looking forward to seeing the other places people might know about.
