I am sure many of us are getting the same emails about part-time jobs for the holidays from our favorite shopping spots. I thought I'd share what I know of and encourage others to also post any they know of. With our area still suffering from un/underemployment, I hope that this will help someone who is in need of work.

Kirkland - part-time help needed for the holidays. And, assistant manager https://kirklands.tms.hrdepartment.c...agerRaleigh-NC

Big Lots - part-time, seasonal

AT&T retail sales - they say various openings in the triangle from sales to technical.

Firestone - Wake Forest

The Fresh Market - I think it's the North Raleigh location

Sprint - bi-lingual needed

Michael's -seasonal

Nordstrom Shoes- Durham. I used to know someone who did this p/t. She made very good money for a 2nd job.

It looks like many of the shops at the new outlet in Mebane are hiring. Now you know where I shop

The Waffle House in Knightdale is hiring, and I think the BoJangles off of New Bern in front of the Wal-Mart is too.

I noticed a 'join our team' type sign in Banana Republic at Crabtree the other day. I'm guessing they are gearing up for the holiday season.

Well this one is a little "unusual", but the feed and seed (Barnes'?) on 9th st. in Durham has had a sign out for a while.
Others we have learned about- Morgan Imports ( BrightLeaf Sq), Bed,Bath &Beyond (By Costco on Broad), Staples (by Roses on Duke St), Harris Teeter.
These are all Durham, by the way...

I also saw that the Capital Broadcasting group is hiring a large number of people (radio and television) some in sales and marketing, other items in customer service, and on air jobs.

It may be worth a look for someone!
