I'm a newcomer to Durham and need to find a rental in the next week or so. I need some help!
What I'm looking for:
2 bedroom (approx 800 sq ft or more)
Hardwood floors
Cat friendly
Character or charm
Small house/duplex/apt. in larger home or old building
Rent up to $850/mo
Newer appliances and W/D option
Close to downtown/Brightleaf/9th etc.
I've looked on craigslist, Duke Community Housing and Herald Sun and it's all coming up ugly or way too far north or south.
Anywhere else online I could look? Any management companies you woukd recommend? Specific neighborhoods?
Driving around aimlessly is an option but takes time and it's hot out there...
