Default Is it The Triangle or The Quad?

When was Cary added to the subforum title? I just noticed it this morning.

I think it was added b/c of all the press Cary has gotten over the years, and so many people seek it out

That just isn't fair! It's time to start a campaign to add Wake Forest to the title. Cary is nothing more than an ugly growth on the side of Raleigh.

Cary was listed on the forum title when I joined this past spring, so it's been there for a while.

As for changing the name of the region from "The Triangle" to "The Square" or something else? I don't see that happening. There are too many companies here who have encorporated "triangle" into their names! Just think of the great expense involved in changing RTP to Research Pentagon Park!

I agree. Wake Forest really should be added it's the next major suburb really. The forum title should be Raleigh/Durham/Chapel-Hill and associated suburbs

Cary's population is 112,000. Wake Forest's is 23,000.

Heck...even Apex has a larger population than Wake Forest...30,208. And Holly Springs is close at 17,425.

You can suggest it in the "about forum" area.

Tho I have not seen anybody having a hard time looking where to post about Wake Forest. And search functions on Wake Forest direct you to all posts on that topic searched.

OK, before this turns into another argument let me settle this for everyone.

I have spoken to the Triangle Area What Should We Call The Triangle Since Everyone Wants Their Town In The Name Committee or TAWSWCTTSEWTTITN for those more familiar with the group and they have decided to go with . . . . . . .

Drum roll please . . . . .

"The Tangential Quadrilateral Area"

It is basically a big circle with a bunch of lines and what not.

The TAWSWCTTSEWTTITN apologizes for this inconvenience especially to "Triangle Dry Cleaning", since they now have to order a new sign that says "Tangential Quadrilateral Dry Cleaning" What a bummer!!
