We recently moved here and are trying to find ways to repurpose our old furniture into our new home.

We have a medium sized buffet that we need painted. I have painted furniture before and it's been fine, sort of, but I want this new paint job to look like it came out of the factory. The piece is currently painted black and needs to go barely cream/off-white.

Anyone know a shop where they can do the whole serious spray gun, furniture quality finish you see on kitchen cabinets?

Thanks!

If you're willing to go the DIY route, Benjamin Moore makes this great self-leveling cabinet paint that you can use.

Sherman Williams on Glenwood/70. I was in there a while back and a lady wanted to do that, and they hooked her up. They have furniture quality oil paints, and advice.

This company's website states that they paint kitchen cabinets.

Kitchen Cabinet Painting | Fineline Painting Company, Raleigh, NC

Back in '09 there was a thread with a couple recommendations for painters for kitchen cabinets.

Good luck.
