You have to love the south for tickets!

I once got a speeding ticket from a cop sitting right next to a 35 mph speed sign just past an intersection. Evidentally, I was already going 35 mph when I went past the sign. The 35 mph only applies AFTER you pass the sign. Before the sign, it was still 25 mph.

Hogwash..... they don't have ANY ways of getting you in the south. You don't get ripped off at all by anyone at any time down here. It's paradise haven't you heard?

Unhappy Traffic Tickets

I know that this doesn't help if you're received a summons but I feel if that you keep your eye on the smaller "crimes" the bigger ones don't happen.

I agree, more police presence is a good thing.

I was once pulled over for not making a complete stop at a stop sign in Cary, at Kildare Farm. Didn't get a ticket though.

Ummm...the idea of the STOP sign is that you STOP...not yield. Who knows what law you may have broken NEXT...running down a boy scout helping an older lady cross the intersection??? Vicki

I'm sorry Vicki. I will try to be like you and not make ANY mistakes when driving, not even the slightest violation, so that I don't run over old ladies and boyscouts that are for whatever reason walking down Kildaire Farm road. I'm sure you have NEVER made a traffic error and I applaud you for this.

Not yet. My son is starting his senior year and it's best that he didn't change schools right before then. He's really enjoying his senior year at Apex so far and I'm glad. My daughter isn't pleased that we are now moving right after her freshman year, but she will still have 3 years to make friends and everything. It will also be timed perfectly for my youngest son to start preschool.

Ok I'm informed...lighten up. You really need a sense of humor. I was just TRYING to be funny but obviously didn't quite make it.

I've never heard of "the south" giving more tickets than any other area. I can't help it if I'm sheltered and just follow rules and laws and therefore don't have run in's with cops and such. I'll try to be more rebellious!!! Any suggestions? Now, be nice.

Vicki
