Southern Seasons has only 2 classes during christmas break and they are all full. They also offer a gingerbread house decorating class but I'm not going to pay $45 to have my 9 year old place life savers on a gingerbreadhouse.

What other cooking classes in Chapel Hill are available year round?

I found a $375 1 week class during the summer which seems very expensive to me. I'm looking for something on the weekends or even after school.

No cooking per se at Whole Foods Kids Club.

I really don't want to leave Chapel Hill or close by. C'est si bon advertises a $300+ cooking class for 1 week in the summer but I can find nothing about year round. I left voice mail for them this morning but nobody has called me yet.
In the mean time I'm making a list of supplies for a gingerbread house decorating session for when school is out. I gave them kid cook books about 2 years ago and they haven't tried all the things in them yet so I guess we will try some new recipes over break. But you know kids tend to listen better to strangers than Mom so I'm still hoping I can find something fun for them near home.
Thanks to all for suggestions.
