Default Live music- Coffeeshops Raleigh-Durham?

Im a musician looking to play the area and I was wondering if there was some coffee shops around Raleigh or Durham that cater to more acoustic (less Rock) oriented acts. I know that The String Cafe in Cary closed. I'm looking for a place similar to that.

Let me know.
Thanks!

Check out The Flipside in Clayton. It's exactly that type of venue and it's a really nice little place.

The Coffee Mill, Clayton NC: Something Different's Brewing in Town

I'm really trying to think of others but I am coming up blank right now. I used to be a band manager but the bands I worked with were hard rock so they wouldn't have been allowed at places like that.

You may want to hop over to raleighmusic.com and see if they have a venues list and post on their forum. good luck!

Try Helios in Raleigh. I thought I heard at one point that they were going to combine with Six String and have Six String upstairs from the coffee shop. Right now, they have music in the shop on certain nights.

I know Helios on Glenwood South has live acoustic music because I stumbled upon it one evening by accident.
