Unless you expect to keep and use the 5W afterward...
That's a lot of money to pay for the privilege of then paying rent and utilities too.

Find an extended stay Motel
The Value Place chain is the best of the lot.
Is Apex or Garner OK enough for now?

MrRational: We do plan on keeping it as we want to explore the southeast once there; I figure if I hate rv-ing, we can always sell it. The cost per month is still cheaper than an extended stay which would be at least 40 a night. I didn't see Value Place but i'll check it out. Don't know enough about the area to know if Apex or Garner will work. I know he doesn't want too bad of a commute to Wake Forest. Thanks for the info!

Rates vary... but 159-189 per week is typical for longer term stays...
which may even be lower than RV sites.

And gotta say (as an RV owner) that if you aren't already RV people...
wait until your settled in somewhere before laying out a wad and starting up.

Garner is about 12 miles from Wake... less if you go right through the center of Raleigh.
Use google maps and see.
