Default In search of VERY pet friendly house or apartment

Hi. I have a cat and 2 dogs. Each of my dogs are chow mixes. One is 45 pounds, full-grown. The other is 65 lbs and only 8 months old, so he still has some growing to do.

I'm looking for an apartment complex or rental home that will allow this combination of animals. All that I've found online restricts me as they have a max of 2, weight limits, or breed restrictions.

If you know of anybody renting a home with a fenced back yard, that would be great, as the dogs are mainly outdoor puppies. In that case, only the cat would be inside, and she's very well behaved.

I am a PhD student at NCSU, so I am on a budget, unfortunately. I would like to keep my total rent under $700 (including any monthly pet fees), but if you know of a place with rent up to $800, then please still let me know. Also, I'd like to find a place within a 25 minute drive to NCSU.

Thank you so much, and I appreciate any help you can offer.

The only apt complex that I know of that has no breed restrictions or weight limits is avalon peaks in Apex. It's a nice place with a great rep and they even have a dog run. It may be on the top end of your budget but it's worth a try. I'm sure there are other apartments in the area that very pet friendly but you may have to search more for them. I would try craigslist as well.
good luck!

Amelia Village allows pets, I'm not sure if there is a restriction on the number. But they are very pet friendly. Almost all of my neighbors including myself has pets! There is also a dog trail there. It's within reasonable distance to 40 which is easy access to everything in the triangle. Amelia Village is located in Clayton right off of 70. I have a spacious two bedroom that I pay $722 a month for. Hope this helps!

Hunting Ridge in Raleigh is pet friendly but has issues with poor tenant selection.

You can also try Beaver Creek Townhomes in Apex. They have apartments as well. I am moving there next week and they were wonderful about my 3 cats.
