I would like to get a lake royale property, but i am concerned about how busy the lake is as it is only 3 miles. Is the lake too crowded on the weekend? Do they have boat slips you can rent?

Maybe someone will answer before I can. I have friends who own a home there. I've never heard them complain about crowds, but I'll ask and get back to you.

Thank you for checking on this for me. From what I understand, I would have to at least purchase a piece of land, pay yearly dues, and pay for a private boat slip. This is a lot of money and would be a waste if it is too crowded.

My friend reports that it is very nice there. Their house is a 2nd home, so they are primarily there on weekends. She said that the three "big" holidays (Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day) are somewhat crowded, but other than that, it's not. They really seem to like the relaxed atmosphere there.

Hope this helps!

We have a home at Lake Royale (off the lake)...lived there full time for two years, now it's a second home. I've rarely seen the lake crowded, except for the holiday weekends previously mentioned.
