Default Looking for a Spirit-Filled Church in Triangle

We moved to the Triangle several months ago and are having a hard time finding a spirit-filled church that also is solid doctrinally.

There are plenty of doctrinally sound, conservative churches. And plenty of "Holy Ghost Tabernacle of Faith House of Deliverance and Healing" wacky churches. But what we would like is in the middle: doctrine and the Holy Spirit.... truth and passion. It's always a hard combination to find.

We have tried ...

C3 Church - Clayton... worship is great. People seem great. But sermons are milk toast. Great for baby Christians though.

Hope Community Church - Cary... seems not spirit-filled. Seems a little pretentious.

Sovreign Grace Church - Apex... never visited, but listened to sermons online. Looks doctrinally strong. But sermons -- though nice exposition -- fairly boring, even for me. Probably a little small (300) for us also. Don't know about worship.

How about an Assembly of God? It's definetly spirit filled and doctrine based. With a non-denominational church you don't always know what you are going to get (although some are very good).

First Assembly of Raleigh is on Blue Ridge Rd. That is the only one I know around here. I just moved here in August. You could check their website to see what is close to you.

I did, I've only been twice. My husband grew up in a AG church. So, he checked the website to see what was in the area.

When I went I got to hear about this missions trip:

We've been to Crosspointe Church in Cary a couple times and really enjoy it. They have a great kids program as well.

We go to the Raleigh Vineyard. Raleigh Vineyard We love it. It really is a good balance in the middle between evangelical and pentecostal - worship is a big priority as is missions, it is very casual and
"come as you are". It is the most balanced church I have ever been involved with.

hurricanedavid-don't know where you live but we attend Victory Fellowship in Garner. We love it-it is definitely spirit filled! We probably have about 500 members now. We attended C3 years ago when they first started and agree that it is great for new believers. Here is a link to the VF website-come and join us on Sunday at 8:30 or 10:30!
