Can you guys give me some input on these two venues? What are the crowds like -- demographically & temperamentally? What are the best nights to go? What are the dance lessons like at each?

TIA!

D217, please elaborate.

And yes, the Longbranch remodeled and reopened on weekends as a "complex" with country AND pop/dance sides.

Hmmm - I went to city limits once with my wife back in 2005. I think we were meeting some younger friends there. Maybe it was a special night but we were the oldest people there (we were in our early 30's at the time) Seemed like a college crowd joint to me.

Oh yeah, they had a bikini bull riding contest (on the mechanical bull).

If that is your thing go for it!

Yeah, that's the impression I got from looking at the website.

LOL! I don't think so. It would be so wrong for everyone involved -- me, the onlookers, and even the mechanical bull.
