What are you looking for in a program? I just recently visited preschools including kids r kids for my 4 year old. We are changing because the commute from Cary to Raleigh was just getting too much with my schedule.
I chose Chesterbrook Academy because I wanted a very structured program academically. I personally did not like kids r kids because I didn't think it was very structured and they offered more play time. Lots of people in my neighborhood use them and are very happy.
I guess it just all depends on what you are looking for. Good luck.

Hi,
My husband and I toured the KidsRKids right outside of the Cary Park neighborhood on Carpenter Fire Station Road. Our daughter will hopefully start going there 2 days a week once she turns 2 in November. We closed on our house in Cary Park today (yahoo), so this school will be very convenient for us in terms of location. There is a waiting list so once we are within 30 days of when we want our daughter to start we will be added into the queue. Hopefully it won't take too long. We enjoyed our tour and all the staff seemed very nice. I liked the set up of the classrooms and the openness. I liked how the playground equipment oustide each classroom was age appropriate for that classroom. I liked the children's cafeteria and computer lab. We especially liked that you can log on your computer and see what your child is doing during the day any time you want. Basically it seemed like a very clean, safe, modern facility. I was told they meet all the requirements for 5 star accredidation but the official inspection to give them the 5 stars will be in October. I am not concerned so much about "curriculum" because, hey, she's not even 2 yet, but at her age group they do do weekly themes and leave information about everything they are working on posted in the classroom so you can follow through at home, etc...at this age I am more concerned with socialization. We liked what we saw and plan on sending our daughter as soon as we can. Good luck with your search. I am assuming the one in Morrisville must be similar.

Both my boys go to Kids R Kids in Morrisville, and I am very happy with the place. The teachers are amazing, the owners are always there and are very involved and very responsive to any concerns or suggestions. Hope this helps, though I know this was posted in Sep.D.

My 4 year old goes to Kids r kids, Morrisville, 5 days a week, 1/2 day pgm. Let me tell you, it was the best choice i think we made for our son. He loves his teachers -- Miss Mary and Miss Laura. While Miss Mary focuses more on teaching kids stuff, Miss Laura is more emotionally attached to the kids. They both balance out superbly. My son has started reading just after 3 months of school, count upto 100 (more too), and do a lot more stuff, thanks to his teachers. They do have a lot of free play time in the morning, a small snack of crackers, art time, music time, outdoor play time (weather permitting) and ofcourse learning time. They do organize games for socialization like duck, duck goose, musical chair etc. My son who was shy has really come a long way and is ok now with all his friends. Overall a very good choice i felt. Mail me if you have any questions.
