1) As far as I know, you can park on the street. I've actually, and now that I think about it, NEVER seen a street sweeper out here.

2) I wouldn't fret over this. No one is going to go into your house and say 'HA! Now I've got you; Cuddles doesn't have his tags on!' Keep the tags handy for vet visits, though and in case there's an emergency that might require them. A friend of mine had a bat - Yes, a live bat - fly into her bathroom through the exhaust fan once and wrestle with the cat. Her cat's life was saved only because she had her tags. If she hadn't Animal Control would have taken her cat AND the bat and killed them both for fear of rabies.

3) We have RoadRunner and have had it for years. Sometimes, you get a bad connection, but if you call and whine they'll come out and fix it up for you. I've never used BellSouth, but I've never heard anything bad about it, either.

4) Ah, new houses. Apex is falling prey to this thing called 'Rapid, ugly development'. They build as many houses in as many places as fast as they can. Whole tracts of once beautiful backdrops are being ripped down and replaced by cookie-cutter housing. They call them 'townhomes' and 'condos', but they're glorified apartments. You can hear when your neighbors flush the toilet, you can smell what they're cooking, you can hear their children's obnoxious shouting. And, before you know it, that patch of trees behind your brand new 'luxury' living apartment will be torn down and they'll put up a new shopping center that's full of all the same stores as the other shopping center ten minutes away in the other direction.

As for Holly Springs -- I would STAY AWAY. Holly Springs and it's neighbor Garner are full of nasty, rude people with terrible attitudes.
