That was going to be my question. The Kobe in Clayton has a REALLY good Sushi Chef there as well as well as Sushi Thai in Cary. Kashin in Crossroads is really good too.

I had bad sushi a couple of times at Japan Express (map), at Harrison and Maynard.

242 Grande Heights Dr, Cary, NC
(919) 460-8866

But that's all the bad, really.

My wife and I love their fried rice. The people are very nice. One week, we ate there three times. We almost always get take out.

And when you mix 5 parts mustard sauce, and 1 part white sauce, you get a perfectly balanced mustard sauce that's good with shrimp, chicken and rice.

My wife always gets their Hibachi chicken, but I think it's too dry and bland without the sauce.

We tried their hibachi steak, but the cuts of meat really weren't too good.

I love their hibachi shrimp, though.

And their crab rangoons are different from most. They are in the shape of little burritos, which surprised me. But they taste fabulous.

Earth Fare has great sushi but its the most expensive I've seen. I used to go to Harris Teeter and the Fresh Market which I loved. Lowes in Brier Creek has the worst I have ever had and I am not picky. The rice is never cooked properly and end up peeling the rice off. At first I thought they just messed up a batch of rice but am now decided that they just don't know how to make it so don't buy there anymore.
